Vietnam sees 18.7% rise in real estate businesses in 2025

REAL ESTATE SECTOR SEES SURGE IN NEW BUSINESSES IN 2025

Over 4,000 real estate enterprises were established in the first nine months of 2025, representing an 18.7% year on year increase, according to data from the Vietnam Association of Real Estate Brokers (VARS).

REGISTERED CAPITAL HITS RECORD HIGH
The total registered capital of these newly established businesses exceeded VND334 trillion (approximately $13.1 billion), marking a significant 60.5% rise compared to the same period in 2024.

THIRD QUARTER GROWTH ACCELERATES
In the third quarter alone, 1,501 new real estate enterprises received licenses, contributing to the overall expansion of the sector.

HOUSING SUPPLY EXPANDS BY 22%
During the January–September period, the real estate market recorded a housing supply of over 100,000 units, a 22% year on year increase. Of these, more than 86,000 were newly developed products.

REGIONAL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION
The northern region remained the dominant market, accounting for 49% of the total supply. The southern region followed with 27%, while the central region contributed 23% of the housing units.
