PROJECT OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES
Quang Tri Province has announced the availability of 568 affordable social housing units, specifically targeting low income workers, laborers, and residents in Dong Hoi Ward. This initiative aims to expand housing opportunities for economically disadvantaged groups and stabilize local living conditions.

PROJECT DETAILS AND DEVELOPER INFORMATION
The Bao Ninh 2 Social Housing Project, developed by Nam Me Kong Corporation, is located within the master planned Bao Ninh 2 Urban Area in Dong Hoi Ward. The project consists of three 9 story apartment buildings (T1, T2, and T3), covering a total construction area of over 53,000 square meters. It will provide 568 units, ranging in size from 44 to nearly 70 square meters.

Construction commenced in July 2025, with Building T1 expected to be completed by August 31, 2026, and Buildings T2 and T3 by December 21, 2026.

PRICING AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE
The estimated selling price for the units ranges from 17.9 to 18.2 million VND per square meter, depending on size and location. Upon project completion and inspection, an independent audit will finalize the official pricing, subject to approval by the Quang Tri Department of Construction.

REGISTRATION PROCESS AND PUBLIC ADVISORY
The Department of Construction has emphasized that residents should only submit applications through officially announced channels to avoid fraud. Registration for purchasing social housing units began on August 1, 2025, at Nam Me Kong Corporation’s sales office at P06 Le Truc Street, Dong Hoi Ward, Quang Tri Province.

Authorities have warned against engaging with intermediaries or making unauthorized deposits, as these actions may expose buyers to scams and financial risks.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PROJECT
This is one of the largest social housing projects in Quang Tri, designed to address the housing needs of low income earners and workers. The initiative aligns with broader provincial efforts to improve living standards and urban development.

RELATED LOCAL DEVELOPMENTS
In parallel, Quang Tri Province is deploying 40 young officials to rural communes to assist with land management, addressing administrative challenges at the local level. Additionally, the province is accelerating plans for high speed rail infrastructure and investigating irregularities in local mining auctions.
